Kayak Rental in the Queen Charlotte Sound
Prices
Rental Prices:
Half Day - $40 per person - Maximum of four hours - 8.30am and 12.30pm briefing
1 Day - $60 per person (8.30am to 4.30pm)
2 Days - $100 per person
3 Days - $135 per person
4 Days - $160 per person
5 Days - 5th Day FREE
Kayak rental includes:
- Kayak - large stable fibreglass doubles; or plastic singles. Specifically designed for kayak rental.
- Fibreglass touring paddle
- Spare paddle
- Spray deck
- Buoyancy aid
- Flares
- Detailed map (waterproof)
- Rubbish bags
- High flow bilge pump
- Paddle jackets
- Dry bags for cameras.
All kayaks have foot operated rudders, and watertight storage compartments.
Every group is given an extensive briefing covering safety and rescue procedures, the equipment, local conditions and hazards, weather, and the paddling area.
